If your child enjoys these types of activities, make sure to include him/her in all of the pre-party planning, such as developing the guest lists, planning dinosaur games, selecting the dinosaur decorations, even preparing the dinosaur party treats.

If your child is younger, consider creating a countdown calendar to keep track of the number of days until the party. Think how excited he/she will be by the time the big day arrives!

How about a dinosaur dig? This can be easily created using crushed chocolate wafer cookies, graham crackers, or sandwich cookies as "dirt". In a pan, layer candy "dinosaur bones" in the "dirt", mash the "dirt" firmly to harden, and then flip the pan over to remove the "dirt". Let the dig begin!
